This is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had when visiting any sexual health clinic. I arrived 20 minutes before the clinic opened only to join an enormous queue in full view of a very busy road. I have been waiting for three hours with little or no reliable information about waiting times being 20th in the queue. The waiting room is cramped and uncomfortable and the first stool I sat on was so unstable I nearly fell off it and strained my back in the process. The place is underfunded and understaffed and woefully unsuited to the obvious needs of the local population. If I were a young person visiting for the first time this would put me off forever. As it is I will never visit this place again. It's a shambles and shame on the health service that thinks that this is even adequate.

The team here is absolutely fantastic. The 1st time I visited, I was seen my Jay Jarman (Health Advisor). He is absolutely fantastic. Very empathetic and calmed me down and gave reassurance. He gave me steps to follow and things I could do to move forward with my situation. I am in such a better place now.

This is the 4th or 5th time visiting Burrell Street clinic, the doctors have always been professional me informative. However, I have been repeatedly shocked at the unprofessional manner of the young man in reception with glasses. He is repeatedly rude to patients and today to my absolutely shock, read out the symptom I circled on the option sheet. This is horrendous behaviour in such a discreet environment and I've never felt so embarrassed in my life. That begging said, the other reception staff are always friendly, helpful and DISCREET.

Lack of information given in regards to waiting time. Appointment service needs to be improved and people need to be kept regularly updated. Waiting times of 3-4 hours is ridiculous.

Absolutely appalled by this service. I am an NHS doctor who works in A&E and I am therefore well aware of the pressures facing NHS services.
However a 4.5 hour minimum wait for a patient who needs emergency cotnraception and has sexual health symptoms is ridiculous. I feel failed by my own organisation and have to continue working with troublesome symptoms and no access to healthcare. The receptionists showed no empathy whatsoever
